This class is for anyone who has taken our Level 1 course and is ready to keep improving their skills This class is designed for you to dive deeper into specific skate tricks, movements and sequences. 

Skills include, but not limited to building off of transitions, one foot balance skills, skating backward, heel toe / toe toe /heel heel manuals, side surfing, spread eagle, spirals, aerials, shoot the duck, cabbage, dips, backward crossovers, 180 jumps with variations, downtown & connecting tricks. Strength and flexibility exercises will be included off skates, to improve on skate abilities.

 

  • Helmets are mandatory for all participants, of any age during our classes
  • Knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards are recommended
  • Roller skates only, we do not teach inline skates in our Learn to Skate programs
  • Need rental skates? Don't forget to add a roller skate rental to your cart prior to checking out. (If you decide to purchase, your remaining rental skate credit is transferable to a purchase of new skates from Sunshine Rollers Skate Shop)

* Our program is non-refundable or transferable. We do not offer partial refunds for missed classes. If the program is cancelled or partially cancelled due to provincial COVID restrictions; classes will be rescheduled for a later date. If the program isn't filled to minimum capacity (8 registrants), you will be refunded in full. *
